Monash Medical Centre Clayton is a 640 bed teaching and research hospital of international standing providing a comprehensive range of specialist surgical, medical allied health and mental health services to our community. SMICS

The Victorian Government has made a significant commitment to cancer reform policy and development since SMICS2002. These reforms are being implemented by nine integrated cancer services (ICS) across Victoria. The ICS are partnerships between health services with responsibility for facilitating planning and improvements in the integration and coordination of cancer services across a specified geographic region.

The Southern Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service (SMICS) was established in 2004, and is a joint initiative of Alfred Health, Cabrini Health, Peninsula Health and Southern Health. SMICS facilitates and supports improvements in cancer care delivery across the southern Melbourne region.
